Letterdrop is designed to collect as little information as possible. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected and how it is used.
1. Information Stored on Your Device
Letterdrop stores gameplay information locally on your device. This may include:
- Puzzle progress
- Completion statistics
- Streak information
- Premium upgrade status
This information is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. Letterdrop does not require user accounts and does not directly collect personal information from players.
2. Advertising (Mobile Apps)
The mobile versions of Letterdrop display advertisements using Google AdMob.
AdMob may automatically collect certain information, including:
- Device identifiers (such as Advertising ID)
- IP address
- Approximate location (derived from IP address)
- Device and operating system information
- Ad interaction data
This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy:

Letterdrop does not control how Google uses this information.
3. Premium Upgrade Purchases
The optional one-time Premium upgrade is processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Letterdrop uses RevenueCat to manage upgrade status and validate purchases. RevenueCat may process anonymous device identifiers and purchase metadata (such as purchase date and product identifier) in order to confirm access.
Payment information is processed directly by Apple or Google. Letterdrop does not collect or store your payment details.

4. Web Version and Analytics
The web version of Letterdrop uses Google Analytics to understand general usage trends and improve the experience.
Google Analytics may collect information such as:
- IP address
- Browser and device information
